This is gorgeous! I love all the textures and the shading. I've honestly never seen anything like it! Her eyes are hypnotizing and it's hard to look away from them! I love how they are very detailed compared to the rest of the picture. It draws attention o them that may not have been given if they hadn't have been Because of the coloring it is very obvious that she is underwater. Plus the fish is adorable! I was wondering though, where do you get your inspiration? Where does all your beautiful art work come from?! All I really wanted to say is the whole thing is gorgeous!!!
I think this is a splendid piece! In particular I like the small, fish-like art in the middle. Caught my eye in the smaller, icon version in my deviation watch, then once I clicked on it the eyes just popped! I like that. There is only one critique I have... and that is:
When you zoom out on this piece she looks just a hint lagged-eyed. Her right iris is just a little to the right. (I only know this because I have a passion for drawing eyes, and will soon to be an eye doctor... so I do understand if this critique is unfair and no hard feeling is you so choose.)
Nonetheless, this is stunning. I like the crisp lines you have chosen and the warming colors in her face. This style of art always sticks out to me. fast, wispy lines, and yet, so beautiful.
Fantastic, fabulous picture! I hope that you meant this to be a drawing of a little girl, not a teenager or a woman, because she is adorable. Her eyes are virtually glowing with excitement and wonder as she watches the little fish and her hair seems to have taken on the bright, clear blue tones of what must be wonderfully clear water or she is an anime girl whose hair was already glow-in-the-dark blue. =^_^=
The little fish adds a wondrous, whimsical element to the picture and makes it evident that this little girl is NOT staring rudely out of the picture at us, but is concentrating fully on the little fish that has her fascinated.
This is astoundingly wonderful! The mixtures of blues and hues with the skin make it exceptionally realistic. Not to mention the subtle, yet strong focus on the eyes due to the orange, what I assume is, fish. It all flows so beautifully, and the shading technique makes it ever more so! Beautiful work, I can't wait to see more!
two hours?!?! That's so impressive!! And the detail is amazing. I don't understand how you did some of the effects in SAI though. I have the same program, and have only had it for a month, but i can't do anything near this complex with it. Would you mind making a short tutorial? If not it's totally understandable!
